The Thistle Faerie is one of a small group of dolls that were created on the road during my recent pilgrimage to Ireland and Scotland and completed once I returned home to lutruwita / Tasmania. She is filled with thistle seeds and is a full bodied doll with moveable arms and legs. She has markings and sigils woven in wool blended with linen and her hair is woven from fibre made from pearls. She was made by hand with love.
