The Thistle Faerie is one of the Lion’s Gate plant spirit dolls that were completed on the 8/8 just after Imbolc. She a doll to assist her keeper on travels and pilgrimage. She has a dress and shawl of wool woven with silk and her hair is woven from raw Icelandic locks. Around her neck is a herkimer diamond on a cord woven from nettles. She is filled with Milk Thistle seeds and Elderflowers. and was made by hand with love.
