Hair of Madder and Fern Plant Spirit
The Hair of Madder and Fern is a plant spirit doll created in the lead up to the magical portal of Beltane in the Southern Hemisphere & Samhain in the North. She is a ‘faerie woman’ who arrived at the time of the apple blossoms. Her long curls are dyed naturally with plants : madder and logwood and she is filled sandalwood and mandrake root. Her face markings are woven with wool dyed with heather and over her heart she has a hand blown glass fly agaric mushroom bead. Her antlers are wrapped in silk woven with fern hairs. She was made by hand with love.
