Joan of Arc and the Swan

Joan of Arc by Jonathan Blair

Recently I have begun to gather personal stories of The Swan Blessing from healers and artists who have come forward to clear past life vows and contracts over the last 6 months. These personal stories are so fascinating and illuminating that I have decided to include them in a new book about the blessing that will go deeper into the many kinds of Past Life Vows we make over lifetimes and the effects that they can have in our current lives.

A crucial point of The Swan Blessing is when we realise the promise, vow or contract we have made in our past life and get ready to release ourselves from it. At this point of the healing I ask clients to call forth a powerful healer to stand beside them and assist them in cutting the ties that bind. It has been many times now that I have been told by clients after their session that it was Joan of Arc's essence and presence they felt come forward to support them.  I should not be surprised that a woman who suffered such extreme persecution and who was also burnt as a witch at the stake would come forward to release the soul memory of similar events for others.
If you would like to share your own personal journey with the Swan to be included in our book please get in touch with us, we would be honoured to receive it.

Faerie Pools on the Isle of Skye

Today I have been talking to my dear friend Rebecca about the luminous Faerie Pools on the Isle of Skye in Scotland - my dream setting for The Swan Blessing. Ancestors calling to the Swan...
Nine waves around you,
Nine winds above you,
Nine paths across you,
Nine fires about you,
Nine wells beneath you,
Nine wisdoms given you,
Nine gifts given you,
Nine skills given you,
Nine strengths given you,
All Ninefold the blessings of the sidhe.

Swanlight

If it could say itself January
Might brighten its syllables on the frost
Of these first New Year days whose cold is blue.
Meanwhile in this corner of its silence
A weak winter sun lowers down behind
The moor that rises away from the lake.
Beyond reach of light, the shadowed water
Succumbs to this darkening of spirit
That would deny the bog today’s twilight.
All of a sudden something else breaks through
To appear at the far end of the lake
In two diagrams of white, uneven light.
I have never seen white so absolute
And alone, glistening in awkward form
Dreaming across the water a bright path.
As it stirs and changes I see what it is:
Two swans have found the mirror in the lake
Where a V of horizon lets light through
To make them light-source and light-shape in one.
Now they swim and fade through windows of reed
And disrobe the lake of apparition.
I look and look into their vanishing
See nothing. Departing that perfect ground
I knew I had been hungry for a blessing.

The Thirteenth Child - A fairy tale before bed

12 Brothers by Belinda Morris

I came across the fantastic illustration '12 Brothers' by Belinda Morris tonight and it intrigued me so much I looked for the original fairy tale.

The Twelve Brothers by Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm

'Once upon a time there were a king and a queen. They lived happily together and had twelve children, all boys. One day the king said to his wife, 'If our thirteenth child, which you are soon going to bring into the world, is a girl, then the twelve others shall die, so that her wealth may be great, and so she alone may inherit the kingdom.' The Swan Returns

Hello Bright Ones, we have just returned to Melbourne after sharing The Swan Blessing with so many beautiful healers, artists & mystics in Sydney. I was born in Sydney and spent many years there in my late teens and early 20s - it was  wonderful to return to the cottage in Glebe surrounded by the harbour and the most amazing Moreton Bay Fig trees. An enormous thank you to all of the beautiful souls who came to share and release their past life stories with us. I am so excited about all of the incredible healing, creative and inspiring work you are all getting ready to birth in this new time.
Oceans of love to the fearless healers & artists of Sydney and we will see you all again very soon, here are some photos we took along the way xx

Sacred Familiar - the Sugar Glider

The Sacred Familiar - an Animal Message from Tony Esta

The Sugar Glider

Sugar Glider teaches us to take a leap of faith without any fear. The Sugar Glider leaps from tree to tree to create it's own path where there is seemingly no path at all. It likes to be at the highest part of the tree and at that height has a much greater perspective than other creatures. It will take a chance to jump onto a new tree when it wants the change. When the Sugar Glider comes to us it's medicine is helping us to try new ways to change the old. It encourages us to have faith and confidence to reach new heights.

The Sugar Glider is a wingless creature that can fly through the air - have you been told that you don't have the skills or gifts to achieve your dreams? Be like the Sugar Glider and believe in yourself, take yourself to the highest vantage point and leap!

We create our own adventure.
